Service

Verners DE has its own Service Center in Riga, at Rāmuļu Street 33, where qualified and experienced specialists provide fast and quality repairs, as well as after-sales service for purchased goods.

The repair of specific household appliances (washing machines and dishwashers, refrigerators) can also be performed at the client's home. Various spare parts can also be ordered at the Verners DE Service Center.

Warranty

When purchasing a product from any Verners DE store, the buyer receives a maintenance voucher. The voucher indicates the free maintenance period for the purchased item at the company's Service Center:

  • for new items (Class A), the warranty period is 2 years;
  • for new items with visual defects (Green Choice B+), the warranty period is 2 years;
  • for discounted items (Refurbished) (Green Choice B-), the warranty period is 2 years from the moment of purchase.

For legal entities, the warranty period for all class items is 1 year from the moment of purchase.

1. Service for all products offered in the online store www.vde.lv is provided in accordance with the Consumer Rights Protection Law (CRPL) of the Republic of Latvia. Even if the manufacturer has set a warranty period for the product that is less than two years, the consumer has the right to file a claim for a non-conforming product within 24 months from the date of receipt of the purchase.

2. Before using the purchased goods, please read the product manual carefully and use the product only according to the manufacturer's instructions, in accordance with the product features and intended use.

3. For electronic goods during service, please keep the packaging and, in case of a complaint, present the product in its original packaging from the manufacturer, to avoid causing mechanical damage to the product, as a result of which the service may be lost.

4. The right to file a complaint is valid if the product was used only under the intended conditions and only in the household.

5. For legal entities that are not consumers, only the warranty period specified by the Manufacturer is provided.

6. We inform you that the manufacturer's warranty conditions apply if the buyer can present:

6.1. the buyer must retain and present the purchase confirmation document (EKA receipt, goods delivery note, or lease agreement), as well as deliver the product to the authorized manufacturer's or distributor's service center or to the Seller in full configuration;

6.2. the manufacturer's or distributor's warranty card (if the manufacturer or distributor has included one in the product package).

6.3. Information about certified manufacturer service centers can be found on the manufacturer's or distributor's warranty card, or by calling 67389025, 29450045, or writing to the email: serviss@vde.lv.

7. We inform you that warranty conditions do not apply to additional accessories of the product (e.g., product accessories), accessories with a limited resource.

8. The manufacturer's warranty conditions do not apply to damages caused by the fault of the buyer or user, and they are:

8.1. damage to warranty seals, serial numbers of the product;

8.2. the product has not been used for its intended purposes and has not been operated as indicated in the product manual;

8.3. scratched, broken structures, cracked screens, water spilled in unintended places, improperly maintained products, if unauthorized items are found in the product, if insect intrusion into the products or other traces indicating improper use of the product are present;

8.4. if the damage has occurred due to non-compliance with the manufacturer's specified standards for power supply, telecommunications, or cable networks, due to rapid temperature fluctuations, and due to other household and external factors, such as soot, smoke, dust, moisture, shocks, scratches;

8.5. if traces of unqualified repair are visible in the product;

8.6. in cases of natural wear and tear of elements.

8.7. if non-standard power supplies, accessories, and spare parts that the manufacturer has not certified for use with the specified product have been used, and this has caused damage to this product;

8.8. the warranty does not apply to additional equipment - batteries, connecting cables, remotes).

8.9. if the buyer has used the product for manufacturing or professional purposes (if the specific product is not intended for such purposes);

8.10. the warranty is void if damage occurs due to improper transportation of the product.

8.11. there are damages caused by the action of chemical substances.

8.12. Regular service maintenance has not been performed (applies to products that require it).

9. In case the product is damaged, the buyer has the following options:

9.1. go to the service center indicated on the manufacturer's or distributor's warranty voucher (bringing the purchase confirmation document and warranty voucher) – we recommend this as the fastest option for resolving the product damage;

9.2. go to the Verners DE store in Riga or outside Riga (bringing the purchase confirmation document and warranty voucher);

10. In cases where warranty service is not valid, but the buyer refuses paid repairs, the buyer must cover the diagnostic costs, and the buyer receives a report from the Service Center about the identified damages. If the buyer agrees to the paid repair, then the diagnostic costs do not need to be covered. If you cannot find the required service center, please feel free to call the Verners DE service consultant at 67389025 or 29450045, and they will suggest the best solution! We remind you that consumers have legally established rights to file a claim for a non-conforming product within 24 months from the delivery date.



Terms for Exercising the Right of Withdrawal


I. Right of Withdrawal:
1. You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 (fourteen) days without giving any reason.
2. The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day you, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you, acquires physical possession of the goods. If multiple goods are ordered in one order and delivered separately, the period begins from the day the consumer has acquired physical possession of the last item; if the goods consist of several lots or pieces, from the day the consumer has acquired physical possession of the last lot or piece of the goods.
3. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us, SIA "LEIC TH", legal address Rāmuļu iela 33, Rīga, LV-1005, phone number: 26455528, email address: vde@vde.lv, of your decision to withdraw from this contract.
4. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication regarding the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.


II. Consequences of Withdrawal:
5. If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional costs arising if you have chosen a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery option we offer), no later than 14 days from the day we were informed of your decision to withdraw from this contract. In any case, you will not incur any fees in connection with such reimbursement.
6. You must return the goods to the Verners DE store in Rīga or outside Rīga without undue delay and in any case no later than 14 days from the day you notified us of your decision to withdraw from this contract. The deadline will be met if you send the goods back to the Verners DE store before the 14-day deadline expires. 6.1. Please note that Verners DE has the right to record possible visual damage to the goods and the content of the package at the moment of acceptance of goods sent by mail. In cases where goods are sent to Verners DE using courier mail, if Verners DE finds damage to the goods or non-conformity with the visual condition and contents of the goods at the moment of receipt, you will be informed and a copy of the inspection report will be sent to you. We recommend that goods be returned to Verners DE in person.
7. You will have to bear the direct costs associated with returning the goods (delivery costs). The maximum costs could be approximately 50 EUR.
8. You are only liable for a reduction in the value of the goods if the goods were used for purposes other than to ascertain their nature, characteristics, and functioning.
9. During the withdrawal period, you have the right to use the item to the extent necessary to check its nature, characteristics, and functioning. To the same extent as you could have done in a regular store before purchasing the goods. When exercising the right of withdrawal, you are responsible for the use of the goods that exceeds the purpose of checking their nature, characteristics, and functioning. You are responsible for any use of the goods during the withdrawal period that is not in accordance with the principle of good faith, as well as for any reduction in the value, quality, and safety of the goods.
10. You are responsible for maintaining the quality and safety of the goods during the withdrawal period.
11. Except for the cases indicated in point 12 of these rules, you may exercise your right of withdrawal and unilaterally withdraw from the contract within 14 days, covering:
11.1. the costs of delivering the goods that are not the least expensive standard delivery option offered by Verners DE;
11.2. the reduction in value of the goods if the item was used for a purpose other than checking the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods, as confirmed by diagnostics performed at the authorized service center of the goods' manufacturer. You are not responsible for the reduction in value of the goods if Verners DE has not informed you about the rights of withdrawal in the manner prescribed by consumer protection laws.


III. Consumers Cannot Exercise the Right of Withdrawal:
12. In the cases specified in point 22 of the Cabinet Regulation No. 255 of May 20, 2014 "Regulations on Distance Contracts", including if:

  • the price of the goods is dependent on fluctuations in the financial market which are beyond the seller's control and may occur during the withdrawal period;
  • the goods are made to the consumer's specifications or are clearly personalized;
  • the goods are perishable or have a short shelf life;
  • the consumer has opened the packaging of the goods that cannot be returned for health and hygiene reasons, such as electric toothbrushes, depilators, electric shavers, beard/hair trimmers, electric hair cutting machines, in-ear audio headphones, and other similar items, if the packaging of these goods has been opened and/or the security seal has been broken;
  • the consumer has requested the seller or service provider to come and perform urgent repair or maintenance work. If the seller or service provider provides an additional service or delivers goods that are not necessary spare parts to carry out repairs or maintenance when visiting the consumer, the right of withdrawal applies to those additional services or goods;
  • the consumer has opened the packaging of audio recordings or video recordings, or software;
  • the contract has been concluded for the delivery of digital content that is not delivered on a tangible medium, if the delivery of digital content has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgment of the loss of the right of withdrawal;


13. The images of the goods displayed in the online store www.vde.lv may slightly differ from the offered goods. To clarify or specify the characteristics of the goods or to avoid any ambiguities related to ordering them, please contact www.vde.lv via email or phone to avoid any unpleasant misunderstandings.
14. Verners DE informs that in the event of a loss of value of the returned goods, they will seek legal action for the recovery of damages caused by the actions of the consumer against SIA "LEIC TH".
15. Legal entities that are not Consumers do not have the option to return the goods within 14 days. Complaints will be considered within 30 days from the date of receipt of the complaint, with a response sent to the contact address indicated in the complaint.

Dispute Resolution


Please submit complaints regarding the availability or quality of goods electronically by sending them to the email address serviss@vde.lv or in writing by sending them to SIA "LEIC TH", Rāmuļu iela 33, Rīga, LV-1005. The complaint will be processed within 7 working days from the date of receipt of the complaint, with a response sent to the contact address indicated in the complaint.

If the complaint is found to be unfounded and you do not agree with the recognition of the complaint as unfounded, you have the right to utilize the alternative dispute resolution options specified in the regulations by submitting a written request to the seller for out-of-court dispute resolution, indicating:

  • first name, last name, contact information;
  • date of submission of the request;
  • the essence of the dispute, the claim, and the grounds.
